These beads are made from super absorbent polymer (SAP), a natural, non-toxic, and non-irritating starch-based material. They burst on impact without causing pain, leaving stains, or harming the environment.
Instructions:
1. Soaking Containers: Use large containers, such as big pots, to soak the gel beads. This prevents overcrowding and potential damage from squeezing in smaller containers.
2. Water Quantity: Ensure there is plenty of water during soaking. Ideally, the beads should remain fully submerged throughout the process.
3. Water Quality and Temperature: The quality and temperature of the water influence the soaking process. Clean, pure water (with a low TDS value) allows for better soaking. Pure water has a TDS of 0, which can be tested using a TDS pen. Warmer water accelerates the soaking process.
4. Soaking Duration: Typically, soaking for over 4 hours allows the beads to reach their maximum size. Luminous beads may require 5-6 hours of soaking.
5. Adjustments for Size: If the beads do not expand to 7.1-7.3mm, switch to pure water for soaking. Adding a small amount of warm water can also help. Stir and continue soaking to achieve the desired size.
6. Storage Tip: Since water quality varies by region, measure the size of the beads as they soak. Once they reach the desired size, remove them promptly. To store, place the beads in a completely filled container with no extra space. This minimizes water seepage and allows for storage of over a month.
7. Size Compatibility: The ideal bead size is typically 7.1-7.3mm. However, gel blasters may vary slightly in their size requirements. Test to find the best match for your specific gel blaster.
